Day 5 Subject: [firstname]: A word about your brand Hey [firstname]! You may not have considered this, but when you're building your online business, you should also concentrate on building a brand. Why? Because consistency is king when it comes to cementing your business into the minds of your potential customers. You want to make sure you are the go-to guy, or go-to gal in your niche. When people think about what your business sells or does, you want them to think of your business. Doing this is easier than you think! First off, you want to make sure you have a logo. You can get one professionally designed on fiverr.com for just $5. Decide on your color scheme (this should tie-in with your logo) and use it on your website and all social media platforms. When it comes to social media… Register the same name on all social media. Ideally, this should be the same as your domain name or business name. Sign up to as many social media platforms as you can think of. Definitely sign up for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. If you're going to be selling physical products or dropshipping, register an eBay account in the same name. The same goes for a YouTube account and a Gmail account. Sign up to niche forum sites. Even if you're not going to use all these platforms, register the name to stop anybody else from using it. If you're going to do any offline marketing, have the same logo and typeface (font) on your advertisements, letterhead and business cards. Once people see your branding all over the place, it will place your business in that part of their brains that deal with recognition and recall. They'll think of YOU first- which is exactly what you want. Talk soon! [Your Name] PS. There's still time to get your copy of my fact-filled guide to choosing the right IM business model.
